Cosmic SL 32 Disc Road Wheelset

Mavic Cosmic SL 32 Disc Road Wheelset

The Cosmic SL 32 Disc wheelset is engineered as the definitive mountain wheelset, offering an ultralight full carbon construction that excels when the road tilts upward. By utilizing the same high-grade carbon rim as pro-level models, this wheelset significantly reduces rotational inertia, allowing for instant acceleration out of corners and effortless climbing. The 32mm NACA-inspired rim profile strikes the perfect balance between weight savings and aerodynamic efficiency, ensuring that riders maintain speed on fast descents and flat valley floors without being buffeted by unpredictable crosswinds.

Precision Engineering and Power Transfer

Built for riders who demand responsiveness, the Cosmic SL 32 features the Infinity hub platform and ID360 freewheel technology. This combination ensures optimal spoke tension and lacing, resulting in high lateral stiffness that translates every pedal stroke into forward motion. With a total weight of 1495g and equipped with flat double-butted steel spokes, the wheelset provides a stable and snappy platform for aggressive attacks. The 21mm internal rim width is perfectly suited for modern high-volume tires, offering a larger contact patch for improved control during technical mountain adventures.

Advanced Tubeless Integration and Versatility

Equipped with the improved UST Road system, these wheels facilitate a seamless tubeless setup that enhances speed, comfort, and puncture protection. The refined rim bed shape makes mounting and changing tires a straightforward task, while the absence of tubes reduces internal friction for a more efficient roll. Designed for Centre Lock disc brakes and compatible with tires ranging from 23mm to 64mm, this wheelset is a versatile powerhouse capable of handling everything from smooth tarmac to light off-road terrain. Each set comes ready for action with UST rim tape pre-installed, providing a high-performance upgrade for any disc-brake road bike.
